We were honored to attend the Run for the Fallen on the last day - August 24, 2008 - in Milwaukee, in honor of our Beloved Eric and all of our Fallen Heroes - from Wisconsin and nationwide. What a fitting tribute to our heroes.

It was such a wonderful, comforting experience for Herb and I to meet all of you at our gathering this weekend in Appleton. To be surrounded by others who have experienced the same painful loss as we have is so comforting to us. We could just be ourselves and not worry about what anyone else thought of our actions or words - you are all amazing - Herb and I are honored to be a part of this family.
