At 12:46pm on September 28, 2008, Cheryl Lee Patrick Mother of Cherished Son SSG Patrick Lee Lybert KIA 21 June 2006, Afghanistan said…: I am glad you got to hear McCain reference Patrick, and my note requesting support for our Troops in Afghanistan and please never Forget Afghanistan. Patrick's 3-71 Cav 1-th Mnt Div of Fort Drum will redeploy BACK to Afghanistan before the new year. They were to go to Iraq and just recently received change of orders. The circumstances leading to my meeting Sen. McCain and Gov Palin were neither sought by nor due to me in any form. Considering I met them, they took note of Patrick's photo tags, and gave credence to the note - My only conclusion has been that Patrick is still watching out for Afghanistan troops and I was but the messenger!
