Run for the Fallen announces event for 2009.

During the weekend of August 22/23, 2009, Run for the Fallen encourages anyone, wherever they are, to go out and run/walk one mile for a fallen service member killed in Operation Iraqi Freedom and Operation Enduring Freedom. Here in Milwaukee, we will join the WI Fanmilies of our Fallen Military in a 1 mile walk at the Zablocki Medical Center Wheeler Lake. We don't run because we are on the land that holds our Fallen Heroes..we walk in their memory and honor. And as we walk that single mile in Milwaukee, the runners from California will be arriving at Arlington National Cemetery after running a mile for every hero fallen in Iraq or Afghanistan.
